MOORE, George Edward.1873-1958. English philosopher GE Moore was a fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, (1898-1904), then a lecturer (1911-25) and a professor (1925-39); Moore edited the journal Mind which became the house journal of the English school of analytic philosophy (1921-47). Moore wrote Principia Ethica (1903), Philosophical Studies (1922) and Some Main Problems of Philosophy (1958).
