BELL, Daniel, American political scientist and Conservative. Professor of Sociology at Harvard University, Bell is on the intellectual wing of America's radical right. He wrote The End of Ideology, Towards the year 2000 (ed), Capitalism Today (Co-edited with Irving Kristol), The Coming Post-industrial society and The Cultural Contradictions of Capitalism (1976).
